MPU-3300 EVB is a evaluation board for MPU-3300 single chip, digital output, triple axis (X/Y/Z) MEMS industrial gyroscopes. The devices feature three 16bit ADC for digitizing the gyro outputs, a full scale range up to ±450 degrees per second (dps), programmable low pass filters, SPI or I2C serial interfaces, low voltage operation and small QFN package. The devices feature a 1024byte FIFO, and a secondary I2C master sensor bus that interfaces to third party digital accelerometers or other sensors. The dedicated sensor bus allows the device to directly acquire data from the off chip accelerometer without intervention from an external processor, while the FIFO allows the system microcontroller to burst read the sensor data and then enter sleep mode as the MPU collects more data. The on chip FIFO and sensor bus simplify system timing and lower system power consumption.
