The LF33CV is a fixed output very low dropout (LDO) voltage regulator with inhibit function housed in 3 pin TO-220 package. The low drop voltage and low quiescent current make this device particularly suitable for battery powered systems, low noise and low power applications. The LF33CV saves board space, cost and requires a capacitor of 2.2μF for stability.
- Fixed output voltage is 3.3V
- Output current up to 500mA
- Very low dropout voltage of 400mV at 500mA output current
- Very low quiescent current of typically 50μA in OFF mode and 500μA in ON mode
- Operating input voltage is 16V
- Logic controlled electronic shutdown
- Internal current and thermal limit
- ±2% tolerance at 25°C
- Supply voltage rejection is typically 80db
- Operating temperature range -40°C to 125°C
