AD4003BRMZ

AD4003 is a high accuracy, high speed, low power, 18bit, Easy Drive, precision successive approximation register (SAR) analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) that operate from a single power supply, VDD. The reference voltage, VREF, is applied externally and can be set independent of the supply voltage. The AD4003 power scales linearly with throughput. Easy Drive features reduce both signal chain complexity and power consumption while enabling higher channel density. The reduced input current, particularly in high-Z mode, coupled with a long signal acquisition phase, eliminates the need for a dedicated ADC driver. Typical application includes automated test equipment, machine automation, medical equipment, battery-powered equipment, precision data acquisition systems and instrumentation and control systems.

• Single 1.8V supply operation with 1.71V to 5.5V logic interface
• Greatly reduced input kickback, first conversion accurate, no latency or pipeline delay
• Input span compression for single-supply operation and fast conversion allows low SPI clock rates
• SPI-/QSPI-/MICROWIRE-/DSP-compatible serial interface
• Throughput: 2MSPS, INL: ±1LSB (±3.8ppm) maximum, SNR: 100.5dB at fIN = 1KHz, VREF = 5V
• THD: -123dB at fIN = 1KHz, -100dB at fIN = 100KHz, SINAD: 96.5dB at fIN = 1MHz
• Oversampled dynamic range: 104dB for OSR = 2, 131dB for OSR = 1024
• Low power: 2.4mW at 500KSPS (VDD only), 80μW at 10KSPS, 16mW at 2MSPS (total power)
• 10 lead MSOP package
• Operating temperature range from -40 to 125°C
