ADAU1777 is a codec with four inputs and two outputs that incorporates a digital processing engine to perform filtering, level control, signal level monitoring, and mixing. The path from the analogue input to the DSP core to the analogue output is optimized for low latency and is ideal for noise cancelling headsets. With the addition of just a few passive components, a crystal, and an EEPROM for booting, this device provides a complete headset solution. It is widely used in application such as noise cancelling handsets, headsets, and headphones, Bluetooth® active noise cancelling (ANC) handsets, headsets, and headphones, personal navigation devices, digital still and video cameras etc.
- Programmable audio processing engine, fast (upto 768KHz) and slow processing paths
- Biquad filters, limiters, volume controls, and mixing, low latency, 24bit ADCs and DACs
- SNR with A-weighted filter (RMS) is 102dB at (AVDD = 3.3V)
- Serial port sampling rate from 8KHz to 192KHz, 5μs analogue-to-analogue latency
- 4 single-ended analogue inputs, configurable as microphone or line inputs
- Dual stereo digital microphone inputs, PLL supporting any input clock rate from 8MHz to 27MHz
- Full duplex, asynchronous sample rate converters (ASRCs)
- Digital signal processing (DSP) core of 1.1V to 1.8V
- I²C and SPI control interfaces, self boot from I²C EEPROM
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C, package style is 36-ball WLCSP
