ADIS16495 is a complete inertial system that includes a triaxis gyroscope and a triaxis accelerometer. Each inertial sensor in the device combines industry leading iMEMS® technology with signal conditioning that optimizes dynamic performance. The factory calibration characterizes each sensor for sensitivity, bias, alignment, and linear acceleration (gyroscope bias). As a result, each sensor has its own dynamic compensation formulas that provide accurate sensor measurements. It provides a simple, cost effective method for integrating accurate, multiaxis inertial sensing into industrial systems, especially when compared with the complexity and investment associated with discrete designs. It is used in applications such as precision instrumentation, stabilization, guidance, navigation, control, avionics, unmanned vehicles, precision autonomous machines, robotics.
- Single-supply operation range from 3V to 3.6V, 1500g mechanical shock survivability
- Dynamic range is ±450°/sec minimum at (TC = 25°C, VDD = 3.3V)
- Sensitivity is 2621440LSB/°/sec typical at (TC = 25°C, VDD = 3.3V)
- Nonlinearity is 0.2% FS typical at (TC = 25°C, VDD = 3.3V)
- SPI compatible, programmable operation and control, automatic and manual bias correction controls
