ADIS16500/PCBZ is a precision, miniature microelectromechanical system (MEMS) inertial measurement unit (IMU) that includes a triaxial gyroscope and a triaxial accelerometer. Each inertial sensor in the device combines with signal conditioning that optimizes dynamic performance. The factory calibration characterizes each sensor for sensitivity, bias, alignment, linear acceleration (gyroscope bias), and point of percussion (accelerometer location). As a result, each sensor has dynamic compensation formulas that provide accurate sensor measurements over a broad set of conditions. The serial peripheral interface (SPI) and register structure provides a simple interface for data collection and configuration control. It is used in applications such as navigation, stabilization, and instrumentation, unmanned and autonomous vehicles, smart agriculture and construction machinery, factory/industrial automation, robotics, virtual/augmented reality, internet of moving things.

- 3dB bandwidth is 573Hz typical at (X-axis and y-axis, (TC) = 25°C, VDD = 3.3V))
- Sensor resonant frequency is 66KHz typical at (X-axis, y-axis, (TC) = 25°C, VDD = 3.3V))
- Nonlinearity is 0.25%FS typical at (best fit straight line, ±19.6²m/sec)
- Operating temperature range from -25°C to +85°C, 100-ball BGA package
