ADP5034 is combines two high-performance buck regulator and two low dropout (LDO) regulators. The high switching frequency of the buck regulator enables tiny multilayer external components and minimizes the board space. When the MODE pin is set to high, the buck regulator operates in forced PWM mode. When the MODE pin is set to low, the buck regulator operates in PWM mode when the load is above a predefined threshold. When the load current falls below a predefined threshold, the regulator operates in power save mode (PSM), improving the light load efficiency. Application includes power for processors, ASICS, FPGAs, and RF chipsets, portable instrumentation and medical devices, space constrained devices.
- Input voltage range from 2.3 to 5.5V (VAVIN=VIN1=VIN2=2.3V to 5.5V, TA=25°C)
- Two 1200mA buck regulators and two 300mA LDOs, regulator accuracy is ±1.8%
- Factory programmable or external adjustable VOUTx
- 3MHz buck operation with forced PWM and auto PWM/PSM modes
- Minimum output voltage accuracy is −1.8% (PWM mode, ILOAD1=ILOAD2=0mA, TA=25°C)
- Oscillator frequency range from 2.5 to 3.5MHz (PWM mode, ILOAD1=ILOAD2=0mA, TA=25°C)
- Temperature rating range from -40°C to +125°C
- 24-lead frame chip scale package (LFCSP-WQ)
