HMC694LP4E

HMC694LP4E is a GaAs MMI C PHEMT analogue variable gain amplifier which operates between 6 and 17GHz. A gate bias pin (Vctrl) is provided to allow variable gain control up to 23dB. Gain flatness is excellent making the HMC694LP4E ideal for EW, ECM and radar applications. Typical application includes point-to-point radio, point-to-multi-point radio, EW & ECM, X-band radar, test equipment.

• Gain variation over temperature is 0.015dB/ °C (typ, 6 to 10GHz, TA = +25°C)
• Input return loss is 15dB (typ, 6 to 10GHz, TA = +25°C, Vdd1, 2, 3= 5V, Vctrl= -2V)
• Output return loss is 10dB (typ, 6 to 10GHz, TA = +25°C, Vdd1, 2, 3= 5V, Vctrl= -2V)
• Output power for 1dB compression (P1dB) is 21dBm (typ, 6 to 10GHz, TA = +25°C)
• Saturated output power (Psat) is 22dBm (typ, 6 to 10GHz, TA = +25°C, Vdd1, 2, 3= 5V, Vctrl= -2V)
• Output third order intercept (IP3) is 30dBm (typ, 6 to 10GHz, TA = +25°C)
• 24 lead QFN package, operating temperature range from -40 to +85°C
