MAX7318ATG+

The MAX7318ATG+ is a 2-wire interfaced, 16bit, I/O port expander with interrupt and hot insertion protection in 24 pin TQFN package. It provides 16bit parallel input/output (I/O) port expansion for SMBus and I2C applications. The MAX7318 consists of input port registers, output port registers, polarity inversion registers, configuration registers and I2C compatible serial interface logic compatible with SMBus. The MAX7318 is used in servers, PLCs and RAID systems.

• Supply voltage range from 2V to 5.5V
• Automotive temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
• 400Kbps I2C compatible serial interface
• 5.5V overvoltage tolerant I/Os
• Supply current of 24µA (V+ = 2V), 45µA (V+ = 3.3V) and 83µA (V+ = 5.5V)
• Standby current of 4.8µA (V+ = 2V), 5.4µA (V+ = 3.3V) and 6.4µA (V+ = 5.5V)
• 100Kohm pull-up on each I/O
• Open-drain interrupt output (INT)
• Noise filter on SCL/SDA inputs
