The MAX9140AAUK+T is a low power, rail to rail, single high speed comparator in 5 pin SOT-23 package. This single supply comparator is optimized for systems powered from 3V or 5V supply. It combines high speed, low power and rail to rail inputs. The input common mode range of the device extends beyond both power supply rails. The output pulls to within 0.3V of either supply rail without external pull-up circuitry making this device ideal for interface with both CMOS and TTL logic. All input and output pins can tolerate a continuous short circuit fault condition to either rail. Internal hysteresis ensures clean output switching even with slow moving input signals. The MAX9140 is higher speed, lower power and lower cost upgrades to industry standard MAX941/MAX942/MAX944 comparators. It is used in line receivers, battery powered systems, threshold detectors/discriminators, 3V/5V systems, zero crossing detectors and sampling circuits.

- 360μA supply current per comparator (VCM = VCC = 3V)
- Outputs swing of 300mV of power rails
- Input offset voltage of 6mV and input offset current of 140nA
- CMRR of 850μV/V at VCC = 5.5V and PSRR of 800μV/V at 2.7V ≤ VCC ≤ 5.5V
