MAX9169EUE+ is a 4-port LVDS repeater in 16 pin TSSOP package. This low jitter, low voltage differential signalling LVDS repeater is ideal for applications that require high speed data or clock distribution while minimizing power, space and noise. The device accepts a single LVDS input and repeat the input at four LVDS outputs. Each differential output drives 100 ohm, it allows point to point distribution of signals on transmission lines with 100 ohm termination at receiver input. The MAX9169 is pin compatible with SN65LVDS104 device and offers improved pulse skew performance. Ultra low 150ps pulse skew and 200psP-P added deterministic jitter ensure reliable communication in high speed links that are highly sensitive to timing error especially those incorporating clock and data recovery or serializers and deserializers. The MAX9169 is used in point to point baseband data transmission, cellular phone base stations, add/drop muxes, digital cross connects and backplane interconnect.

- High impedance output current of 0.01μA and output voltage of 1.65V (VOH), 0.9V (VOL)
- Maximum supply current is 30mA (DC, RL = 100 ohm)
- Fail-safe circuit sets output high for undriven differential input
- Maximum channel to channel skew of 120ps
- Data rate of 630Mbps and peak to peak output offset voltage of 40mV
- Conforms to ANSI EIA/TIA-644 LVDS standard
- Maximum added random jitter of 8psrms
- Output rated for 10pF load, individual output enables
