The P42/29-3C90 is a Transformer Core made with the material grade of 3C90. The P core is the earliest design for telecom filter inductors. The core surrounds the winding almost completely so magnetic shielding is outstanding. The slots in the core are rather narrow which complicates assembly and mounting.
