The P6KE36CA from Taiwan Semiconductor is a P6KE series bidirectional transient voltage suppressor in DO-204AC (DO-15) package. It has excellent clamping capability and low dynamic impedance. The leads are pure tin plated and solderable per JESD22-B102. It also meets JESD 201 class 2 whisker test.
- UL recognized (file number E-326243)
- Peak power dissipation of 600W at TA = 25°C, TP = 1ms and nominal voltage of 36V
- Peak forward surge current (Ifsm) of 100A (8.3ms single half sine wave super imposed on rated load
- Steady state power dissipation of 5W at TL = 75°C
- Operating temperature range from -55°C to +175°C
- Stand-off voltage of 29.1V and maximum reverse leakage current of 1μA
- Breakdown voltage of 32.4V (minimum), 39.6V (maximum) and test current of 1mA
- 12A maximum peak surge current and 52V maximum clamping voltage
- Less than 5ns fast response time from 0V to VBR and 0.099%/°C maximum temperature variation
- Flammability rating meets UL94 V-0
