AD8552 is a dual channel amplifier featuring rail-to-rail input and output swings. It provides the benefits previously found only in expensive auto-zeroing or chopper-stabilized amplifiers. Using Analog Devices, Inc. topology, this new zero-drift amplifier combine low cost with high accuracy. No external capacitors are required. This device is perfectly suited for applications in which error sources cannot be tolerated. Temperature, position and pressure sensors, medical equipment, and strain gauge amplifiers benefit greatly from nearly zero drift over their operating temperature range. The rail-to-rail input and output swings provided by the device make both high-side and low-side sensing easy. It is widely used in application such as temperature sensors, pressure sensors, precision current sensing, strain gauge amplifiers, medical instrumentation, thermocouple amplifiers etc.

- Input offset drift is 0.005μV/°C typ
- Single-supply operation is 5V/2.7V
- High gain, CMRR, PSRR is 130dB typ
- Input bias current is 10pA typ, input offset current is 20pA typ
- Supply current/amplifier is 850μA typ at (VS = 5V, VCM = 2.5V, VO = 2.5V, TA = 25°C)
- Overload recovery time is 50μs, no external capacitors required
- Slew rate is 0.5V/μs typ, voltage noise is 1.6μV p-p typ at (0Hz to 10Hz)
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +125°C
- Package style is 8-lead SOIC-N
