LTC1050 is a precision zero-drift operational amplifier with internal capacitors. This is a high performance, low cost zero-drift operational amplifier. The unique achievement of the LTC1050 is that it integrates on-chip the two sample-and hold capacitors usually required externally by other chopper amplifiers. Further, the LTC1050 offers better combined overall DC and AC performance than is available from other chopper stabilized amplifiers with or without internal sample-and-hold capacitors. Overload recovery times from positive and negative saturation conditions are 1.5ms and 3ms respectively, which represents an improvement of about 100 times over chopper amplifiers using external capacitors. Applications include thermocouple amplifiers, electronic scales, medical instrumentation, strain gauge amplifiers, high resolution data acquisition, DC accurate RC active filters.

- 140dB typical common mode rejection ratio (VCM = V– to 2.7V, TA = 25°C)
- 140dB typical power supply rejection ratio (VS = ±2.375V to ±8V, TA = 25°C)
- 160V typical large-signal voltage gain (RL = 10k, VOUT = ±4V, TA = 25°C)
- Maximum output voltage swing is ±4.85V (typ, RL = 10k, TA = 25°C, VS = ±5V)
- 4V/µs slew rate (typ, RL = 10k, CL = 50pF, TA = 25°C, VS = ±5V)
- 2.5MHz gain bandwidth product (TA = 25°C, VS = ±5V)
- 1mA typical supply current (no load, TA = 25°C, VS = ±5V)
- 8 lead PDIP package, operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
