Product Overview
ADL5303 is a monolithic logarithmic detector optimized for the measurement of low frequency signal power in fibre optic systems and offers a large dynamic range in a versa tile and easily used form Wide measurement range and accuracy are achieved using proprietary design and precise laser trimming. Typical application includes high accuracy optical power measurement, wide range baseband log compression and versatile detector for APC loops.
- Optimized for fibre optic photodiode interfacing
- 8 full decades of range
- Law conformance of 0.1dB from 1nA to 1mA
- Single supply range from 3V to 5.5V
- Complete, temperature stable and accurate laser trimmed scaling
- Logarithmic slope of 10mV/dB (at the VLOG pin) and basic logarithmic intercept at 100pA
- Easy adjustment of slope and intercept
- Output bandwidth of 10MHz, 15V/µs slew rate and low power is ~4.5mA quiescent current (enabled)
- 16 lead LFCSP-EP package
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
