OHMITE

Ohmite has been a leading provider of resistive and thermal products for nearly 100 years. Operations began in a small Chicago shop in 1925 with carbon and wire wound “lug” resistors for the city’s growing radio industry. As the needs of the electronics industry evolved, so too has Ohmite.

We provide solutions to common design complications with our proven technology, including a broad selection of resistors, heatsinks, load banks, EMI filters, and more. We primarily manufacture wire wound, thick-film, and ceramic resistors. Our broad product offering covers power ratings as low as ¼ watts to as high as 1500 watts.
