Product Overview
QSil 550 2-part series are 100% silicone solids elastomer designed for electronic potting and encapsulation applications. This two component system offers a flame retardant, thermally conductive, low modulus material that is readily repairable. It is designed for potting electronics to provide environmental protection (e.g. sterilization units). Suitable for higher working temperatures.
- Long pot life, low modulus and good elongation
- Approval is UL94 V0 file No. E205830
- Colour is beige/black
- Cure profile is 7minutes at 150°C
- Density is 1.41 (BS ISO 2781), cure type is addition
- Gel time at 25°C/77°F is 130minute, mix ratio by weight is 1:1
- Colour is grey, weight is 250g
- Working temperature is -55°C minimum, 275°C maximum
- Tensile strength is 3.52N/mm²/510psi (ISO 37), dielectric constant is 3.12 (ASTM D-150)
