Product Overview
AD627 is an integrated, micropower instrumentation amplifier. It offers superior flexibility by allowing the user to set the gain of the device with a single external resistor while conforming to the 8-lead industry-standard pinout configuration. The device does not compromise performance, unlike other micropower instrumentation amplifiers. Low voltage offset, offset drift, gain error, and gain drift minimize errors in the system. It also minimizes errors over frequency by providing excellent CMRR over frequency. Because the CMRR remains high upto 200Hz, line noise and line harmonics are rejected. It is widely used in application such as 4mA to 20mA loop-powered applications, low power medical instrumentation—ECG, EEG, transducer interfacing, thermocouple amplifiers, industrial process controls, low power data acquisition, portable battery-powered instruments etc.

- Wide power supply range is +2.2V to ±18V
- Higher performance than discrete designs, rail-to-rail output swing
- Gain accuracy (G = +5) is 0.03% typ, nonlinearity is 10ppm
- Input offset voltage is 25μV typ
- Input offset voltage drift is 0.1μV/°C typ
- Input bias current is 2nA typ
- Noise is 38nV/√Hz RTI noise at 1kHz (G = +100), bandwidth (G = +5) is 80kHz
- CMRR (G = +5) is 90dB typ, settling time to 0.01% is 135μs at (G = +5, 5V step)
- Operating temperature is −40°C to +85°C, package style is 8-lead small standard outline [SOIC-N]
