Product Overview
AD8370 is a low cost, digitally controlled, variable gain amplifier (VGA) that provides precision gain control, high IP3, and low noise figure. The excellent distortion performance and wide bandwidth make the AD8370 a suitable gain control device for modern receiver designs. For wide input, dynamic range applications, the AD8370 provides two input ranges: high gain mode and low gain mode. Typical application includes differential ADC drivers, IF sampling receivers, RF/IF gain stages, cable and video applications, SAW filter interfacing and single-ended-to-differential conversion.
- Programmable low and high gain (<lt/>2dB resolution): low range of -11dB to +17dB
- High range: 6dB to 34dB
- Differential input and output: 200 ohm differential input 95ohm differential output
- 7.2dB noise figure at 10MHz
- Two-tone IP3 of 35dBm at 70MHz
- 750MHz -3dB bandwidth and 40dB precision gain range
- Serial 8bit digital interface, wide input dynamic range and power-down feature
- Single 3V to 5V supply
- 16 lead TSSOP-EP package
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
