Product Overview
OP497 is a precision picoampere input current, quad operational amplifier. It is a combination of exceptional precision with low power and extremely low input bias current makes the quad device useful in a wide variety of applications. It uses a superbeta input stage with bias current cancellation to maintain picoamp bias currents at all temperatures. Combining precision, low power, and low bias current, the device is ideal for a number of applications, including instrumentation amplifiers, log amplifiers, photodiode preamplifiers, and longterm integrators. It is widely used in application such as strain gauge and bridge amplifiers, high stability thermocouple amplifiers, instrumentation amplifiers, photocurrent monitors, high gain linearity amplifiers, long-term integrators/filters, sample-and-hold amplifiers, peak detectors, logarithmic amplifiers, battery-powered systems etc.
- Low offset voltage is 150μV maximum
- Low offset voltage drift is 1.5μV/°C maximum
- Very low bias current is 200pA maximum at 25°C
- Very high open-loop gain is 2000V/mV typ
- Low supply current (per amplifier) is 525μA typ
- High common-mode rejection is 135dB typ
- Operates from ±2V to ±20V supplies
- Voltage noise density is 17nV/√Hz typ
- Operating temperature is −40°C to +85°C
- Package style is 16-lead standard small outline package [SOIC-W]
