Product Overview
ACNU-4804-000E is a high-CMR intelligent power module and gate drive interface optocoupler. It is a high-speed optocoupler containing an AlGaAs LED and photo detector with a built-in Schmitt trigger to provide logic-compatible waveforms, eliminating the need for additional wave shaping. The totem pole output eliminates the need for a pull-up resistor and allows for direct drive of the intelligent power module or as a gate driver. Minimized propagation delay difference between devices makes these high CMR intelligent power module optocouplers an excellent solution for improving inverter efficiency through reduced switching dead time. The ACNU-4804 has an increased common mode transient immunity of 50kV/µs minimum at VCM = 1500V guaranteed over a wide operating temperature range. Applications include IPM (intelligent power module) interface isolation, isolated IGBT/MOSFET gate drive, AC and brushless DC motor drives, industrial inverters, and general digital isolation.
