8503 is a DIN to BNC trigger cable that connects the Model 2000 multimeter with any instrument having BNC trigger connectors rather than micro DIN trigger connectors. One end of the Model 8503 is an 8-pin micro DIN connector, to be connected to the Model 2000 multimeter. The other end is split into two BNC connectors, one being specified as the connector for VMC or Voltmeter Complete (output) and the other being specified as the connector for EXT TRIG or External Trigger (input).
