Product Overview
VS-12TTS08-M3 is a high voltage series of silicon controlled rectifier that specifically designed for medium power switching and phase control applications. The glass passivation technology used has reliable operation up to 125°C junction temperature. Application includes typical usage is in input rectification crowbar (soft start) and AC switch in motor control, UPS, welding, and battery charge.
- Designed and qualified according to JEDEC®-JESD 47
- Maximum average on-state current is 8A (TC = 108 °C, 180° conduction, half sine wave)
- VDRM/VRRM is 800V, maximum on-state voltage drop is 1.2V (8A, TJ = 25°C)
- Maximum required DC gate current to trigger is 15A (anode supply = 6V, resistive load, TJ = 25°C)
- Typical holding current is 30mA (anode supply = 6V, resistive load, initial IT = 1A, TJ = 25°C)
- Single SCR circuit configuration, typical turn-on time is 0.8μs (TJ = 25°C)
- On-state slope resistance is 16.2mohm (TJ = 125°C)
- Maximum peak positive gate current is 1.5A
- Typical reverse recovery time is 3μs (TJ = 125°C)
